Bobbi is currently not taking on new clients, but to extend her support to as many individuals and families as possible, she is pleased to offer 3 intensive sessions, each lasting 2 hours. This opportunity allows for focused guidance and assistance tailored to your needs.
Please reach out if you're interested in securing these sessions!
Three Session Intensives
Three Session Intensives: $193.99 per hour (approx. 9 hours required), Including:
Preparation Time - 1 hour
3 x 120-minute sessions, in the clinic or via web or phone appointment
Writing Time - 2hrs
The purpose of these sessions is to problem solve and set a direction for families and systems unable to access regular therapy with BCBM and that require guidance and input with clear and explicit recommendations.
These sessions can be used to problem-solve behaviours at home, school or in the community; they can be used to inform NDIS plans and processes and finding a way forward when a family or system is ‘stuck’.
Three areas of concern may be covered in a session and priorities will be determined prior to a face to face session. We will follow a clearly defined agenda and process. You will be provided with this process before the session so you are aware of what to expect and so you can be well prepared to get the most out of the session you can.
Session 1: With parents and other adults involved in the situation. This is an opportunity to explain what is happening in your family and clearly explain what you need. The therapist will break down the recommendations provided by other professionals into cohesive, manageable chunks. You will be provided strategies and direction following this session.
Session 2: May include children, teachers, extended family members and friends. This can be a time when strategies are presented, or children have a chance to tell their own stories - i.e. siblings have an opportunity to be heard etc. You will review refined strategies and direction following this session.
Session 3: May be with key adults or with children also. This is an opportunity to report back on how the implementation of strategies has been going and for the therapist to provide feedback and follow up strategies.
Pre-session documentation may include:
-
Completed intake form
-
Developmental history
-
Copies of any reports and or assessments from other professionals: Psychologist, Occupational therapist, Speech, Physiotherapy, School or care setting, Pediatrician, Psychiatrist, Dietitian, Specialists - geneticist, cardiologist, surgeon or GP.
Note: These sessions can be billed to NDIS capacity building, Improved Daily Living (pending NDIS approval) - training if funding is available, brokered by a support service or user paid.
