About the event

This professional development workshop is designed for professionals who support children, young people or adults with disability and who need to understand how to provide clearer, stronger and more useful disability-related evidence.

This workshop is suitable for teachers, early childhood educators, therapists, therapy assistants, support workers, support coordinators, behaviour support practitioners, case managers and professionals working with families involved with the NDIS.

The day will bring together practical content from Herding Snails and Beyond Making Do, with a focus on complex disability, autism, PDA profiles, functional impact and NDIS evidence.

This workshop will help professionals understand how to describe disability-related need in a way that is practical, respectful, evidence-informed and connected to the person’s daily functioning.
